Ana Delmy Metrock
Miss Delmy is the Director of the Montessori School of Concord, and teaches the kindergarten class. She has been teaching the Montessori Method since 1987, and has been at the Montessori School of Concord since 1992. She received her Montessori teaching credentials in 1997 through Cal State Hayward (East Bay), and her Early Childhood Education at San Francisco City College. She also completed her Early Childhood Administration at Diablo Valley College.
Born and raised in El Salvador, Miss Delmy is now married and has four children. Besides teaching, she enjoys spending time with her family, fishing, camping, and watching the Oakland A's Baseball and the Warrior's Basketball.

Ana Rivas
Miss Ana teaches our 3 to 4 year old class. She has completed her Early Childhood Education at Los Medanos College and received her Montessori teacher credentials through Cal State Hayward (East Bay).
Miss Ana has been working at The Montessori School of Concord since 2003. She loves working with the pre-school age children and being part of their development.
Miss Ana lives in Concord with her daughter, Celeste, who is a graduate of the Montessori School of Concord.

Edith Rodriguez
Miss Edith teaches the 2 to 3 year old class, our "little ones." She has over 17 years of experience working with toddlers and pre-school aged children, including 5 years in the Montessori environment. She obtained her Child Development Education at San Francisco City College and continued at Diablo Valley College to receive her Child Development Associate Teacher permit.
Miss Edith lives in Concord with her husband of 33 years and her four children. She also has her first granddaughter. Her favorite hobbies are shopping and camping.

Virginia Ayala
Miss Virginia, or Miss "Gina" for the little ones, teaches our toddler class. She has been working at the Montessori School of Concord since 2002.
She completed her Early Childhood Education at San Francisco City College and received Montessori training for pre-school in the San Francisco area. She is a fully qualified teacher with several years of experience working in the Montessori environment.
Miss Virginia lives in Concord with her son, Eduardo, and their dog, Skittle. She loves to travel and to spend time with her son.

Nida de los Reyes
Miss Nida joined the The Montessori School of Concord in the year 2000. She teaches our pre-kindergarten class, and has several years of experience teaching the Montessori method.
Miss Nida was born and raised in the Philippines, where she finished her bachelor's degree in Food and Nutrition. She moved to the United States with her husband in 1997. Then she attended Diablo Valley College to obtain her Early Childhood Education and became a certified Montessori teacher through Cal State Hayward (East Bay). Miss Nida lives in Pittsburg with her husband, Ding.

Nadia Joan Borg
Miss Nadia is our Teacher's Assistant. She joined The Montessori School of Concord in the summer of 2008, and spends the mornings in various classrooms helping the teachers.
Having obtained her Early Childhood Education at Diablo Valley College, Miss Nadia is a fully qualified teacher. She continues her education with the goal of achieving her master's in Psychology. Her passion for developmental psychology has encouraged her to work with children. She has been teaching since 2006 and enjoys every bit of it.
During her free time, Miss Nadia is a musician. Her favorite instrument is the bass guitar.
